Corporate Health Group specialises in the inter-disciplinary assessment of employees’ capacity to perform specific tasks in the workplace to ensure their safety and minimise costs associated with personal injury claims.
We undertake a detailed assessment and evaluation process to determine the employability and future earning capacity of employees, either for workers compensation, CTP, public liability, income protection, superannuation entitlements or medical negligence.
Assessments may include any or all of the following components:

Pre-Employment Medicals
Pre-employment assessments are undertaken to identify any health issues which may affect a person’s ability to perform the required tasks of an occupation safely and effectively. They are conducted by experienced medical practitioners who have developed an understanding of occupational health and the importance of the appropriate and safe placement of new employees into the work environment.
The pre-employment medical incorporates a detailed occupational and medical history and multi-system examination. Recommendations are then made regarding the suitability of the applicant to perform the particular tasks of the position and whether any restrictions or limitations need to apply.

Pre-Employment Functional Assessments
We have remained at the forefront of functional testing in South Australia with the use of the state-of-the-art BTE-ER functional testing system. Pre-employment physical assessments are undertaken to safely match potential employees with the physical demands of the job.
In addition to identifying whether the worker is able to meet the functional demands, the assessment provides a baseline for comparative reporting for rehabilitation purposes should an injury occur as well as assisting in the identification of appropriate alternate or modified duties.
